Glory & Brilliance of Renaissance
Le Manège Royal – Revival of the courtly art of riding
We revive the courtly art of riding according to Antoine de Pluvinel, riding instructor of king Louis XIII in Paris:
The presentations, ridden in magnificent renaissance costumes, take place in our riding house, which has fittingly been built in this epoch.
The adorned princely stallions are presented in 50 minutes by our riders and rise the era of Renaissance. In different pictures you can gaze at the bustling of our noble horses under the saddle as well as work on the Pilar. The show's highlight indisputable is our school jumpers, who show their skills in the Schools above the Ground, and the skill at arms where horses and riders show their skills hand-to-hand, for example in fencing and in historical passages at arms.
